Della Soul originated from Duhaney Park,Kingston 20, Jamaica in 1991.
The name Della Soul was inspired by Nelson Mandela.
The man who started the Sound was Oral Campbell, he started the Sound with
 a Tape deck attached to some small speaker boxes.
Boxer joined the sound and invested in better equipment, so the sound could
start playing in dances and parties in the area.

Over the years Della Soul has Started the career of many talented selectors,
one of whom is Diamond Fingers from the great "Stone Love"
who was given the name Diamond by Boxer.

Many talented individuals have been involved with Dell Soul inc. Spragga Benz,
who was nown as Spragga Roots back then, Buju Banton, Babycham, Anthony
B and Mr Vegas.
During those days Della Soul and La Benz (RIP Ricky) was the Top Sounds in
the area.
In 1997 the Sound exprerience difficult times when they lost their equipments and the Sound was immobile for a number of years.

In 2006 boxer returned to Jamaica and decided to revive the Sound by rebuilding in Jamaica and in the UK.
Since then Della Soul has been going from strength to strength, achieving great success and popularity world wide.
Building a repution as one the UKs top remixing Sound.

The crew consist of Boxer , DJ Reds, Mega Flex.

DJ Reds , 23 years old. Born in Portmore, St Catherine Jamaica. came to the UK at the age of 13.
Started his career at the age of 15 when he got his first decks as a b,day present from his aunt.
He was inspired by his older cousins Craigis and Pony who he grow up with, who both had Sound Systems in Jamaica.
He worked at Reds records from the age of 15 and stayed there for 8 years, thats where he fine tuned his skill as a remix master. His firts professional jab was at the Satay bar in brixton where he developed a large following.
He was invited to join Della Soul in 2006 and has not looked back since.

Mega Flex, born in Tivoli Gardens, Kingston.
Been in the music industry for 25 years, Started his career with a Sound called Love Bunch then moved on to Swatch. He travelled the Carebean and US with Swatch, playing along side top Sounds like Stonelove and Metro.
He came to the UK in 2003, met Boxer in 2005 and joined the Della Soul in 2006.
His main inspiration was his father,who was a musician (Winstan Bowen aka bopee) who played the lead guitar in Lloyd Parks band also his uncle, Oral Robinson who work for JBC Radio.
Mega Flex discribed the time he clashed with Ricky trooper, there was a clash in Denham Town, Swatch v. Jaro. "i dealt with Jaro wicked" the great Trooper had to admit "youth yu bad" thats when Mega Flex name started to ring out..

Della Soul is on the warpath, so all Sounds better watch out....
