Lady Lyrical - Biography.
Lady Lyrical is a 32 yr old, female from United Kingdom of british, white origin. Born in 1978 Lady Lyrical grew up with music being a huge part in her life. Lady Lyrical’s father was also in the music industry as a musician for Freddie & the Dreamers, a famous 1960’s british band.
Lady lyrical grew up with her father often on tour, and by the age of 12 was able to string up a live PA system.

In 2005 lady lyrical offered to help out at a local radio station, which soon developed into a regular weekday show for jamrock radio UK. Within a few months Lady lyrical was starting to get known within the dancehall world of promoters and quickly grew into playing numerous club parties.
In 2006 lady Lyrical debut internationally in France alongside Irie Crew, Supersonic sound & guiding star sound.
In 2006 Lady lyrical went on to University and studied Music production at degree level, very quickly she was able to start voicing her own artists and dubplates.

In 2007 Lady Lyrical flew to the UK, 2 sounds from Canada named Super Fresh & Lexus Superior and held the first UK V Canada official Clash. Later that year Lady Lyrical went on to hold the first World Rumble Online Clash, which caught the attention of over 2500 listeners.
Since then lady Lyrical’s career has grown from strength to strength. Since her debut in France Lyrical has been to New York, Germany, Italy, Spain and many other world destinations as well as competing in local sound clash events in the UK, and continuing to hold her own promotional events.
In 2008 lady Lyrical joined Mellow Texs Sound from New York and within 1 year clashed the sound and caused waves within the clash world. Her first clash in the UK, Lyrical reached as far as the tune for tune, but despite not winning this clash, many people found themselves talking about Lady lyrical more than the winners themselves. In addition Lady Lyrical continued to hold many successful promotions to include sound clashes and very quickly maintained a fanbase, not just locally, but also world wide through using the internet to form a popular sound clash group to promote the Lyrical brand.

In 2009 lady lyrical decided to join Playmaker sound in order to further her career, and to achieve her first goal of being accepted within the sound world despite being a female.
In October 2009, Lady Lyrical played alongside Immortal sound Uk, and held an interesting, unplanned tune for tune segment, but this was enough to send out positive signals to the clash world that Lady lyrical is not a woman to be reckoned with and for five years holds the title of the only female from the UK who can play a wide selection of dub-plates at clash level.
In March 2010 lady Lyrical clashed for a promotion in Camden, London run by Trevor sax of Saxon Sound, which has been named, Bring Your Tunes & Defend your sound, in which Lady Lyrical clashed for her first time on Playmaker Sound and won 11-0 to a sound named blazing fire.
This was a historical moment in Playmakers sound career as Lady Lyrical has now been named the first female to officially clash against male sounds and win in the UK.
