Producer, Singer, Musician.

This talented artist started playing the bass guitar for the church band in the Midlands from a very early age, this was to be his musical debut.

Years later as a young man he then had a very successful career playing in a roots band called Bandit. After a few years the band split and Desi moved to London.

It was while in London Desi link up with bikey from the coxsone crew (at that time, the no.1 sound sound system in the uk) and started producing music for themselves, they built up a production company called K.U.S which went on to produce some of the 90's most popular tunes.

As well as the production company they also built a recording studio which had a large clientele including many big names.

Working under various aliases, Desi produced reggae, jungle, drum n bass and R+B. Working with many of the local youths, some of whom are now major stars in their field of music.

He then had a major chart hit with the jungle tune “Fire” featuring Demolition Man under the guise of “Prizna”. As well as supplying beats for computer music programs to many well known producers.

Now Desi has decided to pick up the microphone himself and has come up with a diverse reggae album of pure quality.

This album “Soul on Fire” contains some excellent songs with a cultural lyrical content.

Desi has grasped the concept beautifully with his diverse and expressive music. It seems to have encapsulated the here and now, a little something for everyone.
